The Wands of the Tarot teach us about the workings of the human spirit and how that spirit animates our physical and material lives — in our bodies, our creativity and sensuality, our sense of adventure, and our willingness to fight for what we care about — including ourselves, others, and our greatest dreams.
The Wands are most closely associated with the solar plexus chakra, which fuels our ability to exert our willpower, chase after the things we desire, stand up for ourselves and those we love, and create and lead from a place of passion, excitement, and celebration.
Definitely the most fiery suit in the Tarot, the Wands help us notice and shift how we engage in conflict (or avoid it), how we express our passions, how we focus and expand, how we use the body to feed the soul the adventures it craves here on Earth. The insights and reflections offered by the Wands hold powerful guidance for shaping and forging the future we desire to create.
In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll become more familiar with the meanings associated with individual cards, and you’ll begin developing and expanding your own personal interpretations. You’ll also deepen your understanding of the overarching story of the suit.
This workshop is intended for those who are either new to Tarot or have some familiarity with the cards and are ready to deepen their relationship to the archetypes and the practice, perhaps with the intention of reading for others.

Participants who complete all of our Tarot workshops on the suits and Major Arcana will receive a 90-minute coaching session to explore your Tarot practice, including where you feel challenged, where you’d like your practice to go and grow, and next steps to support you. Those who pay to register for all workshops or recordings will receive a direct payment of $50 at the end of this journey (this does not include Typewriter Tarot members who receive the class for free).
